The Greene County Fair is the county's biggest week of the summer — six days of midway rides, livestock and home-arts competitions, fair food, pageants, grandstand motorsports, and live music at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The 2026 fair runs Monday, July 20 through Saturday, July 25.
Run by the Greene County Fair Association since 1949, the week builds from the Fairest of the Fair pageants and nightly tractor and truck pulls to a Saturday-night V8 demolition derby, with the Barnyard Nursery petting zoo, the Torres One Ring Family Circus, and Main Stage concerts throughout. Gates open at 4 PM on weekdays and 1 PM on Saturday, closing at 11 PM each night.
