The Greeneville Christmas Parade is Greene County's biggest holiday event — floats, marching bands, and a grand marshal winding through historic downtown along Main Street on a Sunday afternoon in early December.
Organized by the Exchange Club of Greeneville and the Greene County Partnership, the parade takes a new theme each year (2025 was “Christmas in Paradise”) and features a judged float competition with cash prizes. It caps a holiday weekend that starts with the downtown “Christmas in Downtown” tree lighting the Friday before.
