About
The Greeneville City Schools Education Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization located at 129 W. Depot St. in Greeneville, Tennessee. Founded in 1996 by private citizens working alongside the Greeneville City Board of Education, it raises and distributes donations to bridge the gap between state funding for basic education and the full cost of an excellent education. The foundation awards teacher grants, funds professional development, and supports scholarship programs to help prepare students to be college and career ready. It is governed by a board of more than twenty community members.
