About
The Greene County Board of Education is the governing body for the Greene County School System, located at 910 W. Summer St. in Greeneville. The system serves approximately 7,500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 across multiple elementary, middle, and high school campuses. Basic education and the majority of special education services are delivered through 11 elementary schools, one middle school, and four high schools. Additional programs at the Thomas Howard McNeese Educational Center include an alternative school, ROTC, and other support programs.
