The Capitol Theatre of Greeneville, established in 1934, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located on Main Street in downtown Greeneville. The theatre hosts live music, theatre productions, comedy events, and movies, including discounted $5 movie showings. The building has undergone multiple renovations, most recently with private donors restoring the interior, updating the marquee and facade, and upgrading audio-visual systems.
